Red Letter Student Ministries... Hello and welcome to Red Letter Student Ministries. We are the student ministry of Aldersgate Church in Mechanicsburg, PA. We are devoted to making honest, genuine, students of integrity and most of all passionate followers of Christ. We meet every Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:30 pm at our facility in Mechanicsburg. On a typical night you will find us engaging in group activities, a short lesson, small groups, and student led worship. So come out and join us on a Sunday night or check out our calendar for another one of our youth events. You won't be disappointed! The Idea behind Red Letter Student Ministries is Simple; open up just about any Bible and go to the red letters, there you will find the words of Jesus. Our Mission is to develop students into passionate followers of Jesus Christ who take up their cross and reach out to the world. Red letter student ministries exists to demonstrate God's love, to develop passionate, devoted followers of Christ, to glorify God with our lives through acts of service, and to promote intimate relationships among other believers. can get them on the website! What's Up This Week... Wednesday November 26th: No What's Up Wednesday Discussion because of Thanksgiving. Sunday November 30th: Youth gathering from 6:00 - 8:30(MEAL SERVED TONIGHT). Praise team please report at 5:00 pm. Wednesday December 3rd: No What's Up Wednesday due to Confirmation Class from 6:30 - 8:00pm.  Important Dates and Reminders... Middle School Movie Night - We will be having a movie night just for middle schoolers on Friday December 5th from 7:00 - 10:00 PM Senior High Night - We will be going to Bounceplex in Selinsgrove on Saturday December 6th. Check out the website for more info @ www.bouncefunplex.com. You must sign a waiver release before you can attend. Departure time is 4:00 PM. The living Nativity is Sunday December 7th. We kick off our holiday season here at Aldersgate with live animals, Christmas carols and lots of cookies and hot chocolate so come out and join the fun. The 2009 Cookie Walk is scheduled for December 21st after all three services. Each student bakes 10 dozen cookies and the Aldersgate family buys them by the pound. Each talk sheet gives an overview of what we covered that night as well as some fun activities and discussion questions to do as a family. There is now a locked Red Letter Student Ministries drop box located
outside of the Student Ministry Office for your convenience. We are
hoping that this new box will greatly increase the efficiency of
Students and parents please be advised of the new procedures for
dropping off forms and money. All cash and checks must be placed in a
small envelope and labeled with your name and what the money is to be
allocated for. If you do not label your deposits there is a chance it
will not get credited to the correct account. |
